North Georgia Candy Roaster Squash is an old Heirloom Squash from Appalachia. This pink skinned banana-shaped squash is a great substitute for pumpkin in any recipe calling for pumpkin or sweet Autumn/Winter Squash. (Must be cooked before using in a pie).
They grow up to 18 inches long, and the flesh inside is orange. Having a lightly sweet squash flavor, this old favorite will be popular with a new generation.
